Virginia Eutta
Kolb
Jul 11, 1936 — Sep 27, 2025
**Virginia Eutta Kolb, 89, of Lincoln, Nebraska** entered into eternal rest on September 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and the peace of her faith. Born on July 11, 1936, in York, Nebraska, Virginia was the treasured daughter of Ralph and Pearl Comstock.
Virginia's life was one of quiet strength, steady devotion, and great compassion. From an early age, she was drawn to caring for others—both people and animals alike. This love guided her throughout her lifelong journey. She spent more than 40 years as a faithful member of Country Bible Church in Bennett, Nebraska, where she not only forged deep friendships but also offered countless hours of service. Her abiding faith was the cornerstone of her life, and those who knew her will remember her as a woman who truly loved God with her whole heart.
Virginia was also devoted to her community. She contributed generously of her time as a member of Wild Life Rescue and selflessly supported those in need as part of the rescue team in Palmyra. Fueled by a deep respect for all of God's creatures, she cared for animals throughout her life, seeing in them the beauty of their Creator. These roles reflected her unwavering commitment to help, nurture, and serve whenever she was needed.
Family was always foremost in Virginia's heart. She is survived by her loving children, Brett Kolb, Melissa Wollen, and Neil Duncan, and Son-In-Law John Wollen, and Daughter-In-Law Alonna Kolb; and her grandchildren Brandon Wollen, Alyssa Kolb, Michael West, Chelsie West, and great-granddaughters Araeya West and Brooklyn West who will forever cherish her wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Mona Duncan and Denise Duncan, and now she is joyfully reunited with them in heaven. Virginia's family takes comfort in knowing that she is also reunited with her beloved parents, Ralph and Pearl, who preceded her in death.
Those who had the blessings of sharing time with Virginia will remember her for many things: her unwavering faith, her warmth and kindness, her ability to share love so freely, and her devotion to both her church and community. She lived her life with generosity and grace, leaving behind a legacy defined not by grand gestures but by countless quiet acts of love and service. Whether it was lending a hand at her church, offering support to a neighbor, or caring for an animal in need, Virginia's life spoke of her gentle spirit and steadfast character.
A **Celebration of Life service** will be held at Country Bible Church in Bennett, Nebraska, on October 11th, 2025 at 11:00AM. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the remarkable woman whose life was a testimony of faith, love, and service.
Virginia's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those she loved, but her legacy shines brightly in the lives she touched. She will be remembered always—with gratitude, with love, and with joy for the beautiful life she lived.
