Terri Lynn Beard 70 of Lincoln, NE 12-19-1952 to 7-10-2023. Terri went to see the Lord with her brother and sister in law by her side at Bryan West hospice care unit. Terri was born in Wichita Falls, TX to Margaret and Charles Housman from Roanoke, VA. She was the oldest of 3. Terri studied at U.N.L. with a Philosophy/Literature B.A. Terri loved to read. She volunteered at Lincoln Literacy teaching refugees to speak English. She worked at various jobs in the community including at the training table for U.N.L. sports and for a NE congressman in the state capital. Terri loved going to the Zoo Bar and listening to all the great blues music with her friends. She lived in England with her first husband Simon Evans, the love of her life. She moved back to the US to finish her degree. A good friend of hers once said Terri had a love for language and could always out do us with her wit. Terri was interesting, smart, complex, fun and tragic. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Preceeded in death by Parents Charles and Margaret Housman. Survived by Brothers: Michael (Debra) Housman and Charles Housman Jr., Legally separated spouse Michae Beard, Aunt: Evelyn Conner, Cousins: Lori Kangas, Troy Scott, Doug Sprouce, Todd Sprouce. 2 nieces and 1 nephew. There will be a family service on a later date.
