Shirley Ann Zacherson, age 81, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on May 17, 2025. She was born September 14, 1943 in Burchard, Nebraska. Shirley was known for her loving and compassionate nature, always eager to help and care for others. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her active participation at St Mark in Lincoln.

Shirley is survived by her husband Gordon Zacherson; daughters Kathy Reinke and husband Dan, Stacy MacKenzie; sons Todd and Eric Zacherson, all of Lincoln. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Payton and Grant MacKenzie of Lincoln, and Amber Zacherson of Gilbert, Arizona.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Margaret (Holz) Riensche; brother Ervin Riensche and his wife Pat; and her sister Marie (Erna) Mosier and her husband Mick.

Shirley's life was marked by her dedication to her family and her faith, making lasting impacts on those she encountered. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, May 29 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 3930 South 19th Street in Lincoln.
