In Loving Memory of Sherry VanDerslice

Lincoln, Nebraska – Sherry VanDerslice, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on December 25th, surrounded by her family and caring staffed at Bryan West Hospital.

Born in Hugoton, Kansas on December 3rd, 1956, Sherry was the daughter of Dock Franklin Willis McClure and Marie Marcella Essen Hayes.

Sherry spent years working at the University Dental Collage, where she was a respected and trusted dental technician. Outside of work, Sherry spent her time caring for her beloved pets – Bear, Noah, Lucky and Diamond. Those who knew Sherry best will remember her laughter and smile. She had a rare gift for making everyone feel important and loved. Sherry' greatest pride was her family.

She is survived by: Her husband, Andy VanDerslice, her daughter, Elizabeth Thibert and her son, Eric Rundle. Her siblings, Vickie, Sandra, Ginger, Mike, Gene, Linda, and Opal. Preceded in death by her son Scott, daughter Danita, parents, and her brothers: Larry, Dock Jr, Frank, Tom, sisters: Lois and Sandy.

Celebration of life will be December 30th at 3:30 pm at Pla ins Baptist Church, Lincoln, NE
