Obituary

Rodney D. Locke, 71, of Glenwood, Iowa died on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Rodney married his high school sweetheart, Mary (Floy) on August 18, 1973. To this union, two sons were born. An IWCC graduate, Rodney went on to be a welder for 30+ years, at Palco Manufacturing Co. and Omaha Standard.

In his downtime, Rodney never missed a single game while his boys were growing up. He played softball & bowling league through work. He was a member of Fort Dodge Deaf Club & Council Bluffs Silent Club, and enjoyed playing darts & poker. Rodney may be a man of a few words but he liked to be loud when it comes to his love for heavy metal and professional wrestling. He was also a big fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Bears & Cubs.
