Rachel Elaine Allen, 43, a true hippie at heart passed away on December 15, 2020 in Lincoln, NE due to complications caused by diabetes. The beloved Rachel Allen was born on May 2, 1977 to Richard Allen and Monika Serie in Lincoln, NE at Bryan East. She was the youngest of three sisters, Melissa Johnson and Olinda Wylie. Rachel was raised in Lincoln and was a talented singer traveling with school groups to competitions, she carried that talent throughout her whole life singing all the time. She had a wide variety for music taste and knew every song! She was an avid collector, shopper, thrifter and couldn't pass up a good deal! Rachel was a true friend to those around her and would give the shirt off her back to keep you warm! Rachel was a Halloween enthusiast and would deck her house out in decorations, you could have charged a fee to walk through her home like a haunted house. She also enjoyed getting tattoos oftentimes getting them randomly as a form of therapy, she was a work of art! She was a licensed CNA and took many nursing courses throughout her life, practicing her craft in retirement homes and in-home health care. She loved being able to provide for those who needed assistance. She is preceded in death by her daughter: Aulana Hulbert, stepmother: Delores Allen, grandparents: Emma Allen, Jan and Melvina Jasinski, uncles/aunts: Johnny Jasinski, Austin Allen, Sharon Allen She is survived by her daughter: Jenica Hulbert, parents: Monika Serie (Jim Serie) and Richard Allen, sisters: Melissa Johnson (Eric Johnson) and Olinda Wylie, nieces/nephews: Zerik Johnson, Erika Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Brandon Wylie, Sofia Wylie, and Elisabeth McCrary Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we will not be having a service right away, but watch Facebook because we will be having a Celebration of Life hopefully in the summer of '21.
