Phyllis Mary Shook, age 80, passed away on February 4, 2026 at The Grace Space in Lincoln, Nebraska. Service and luncheon will be held on February 21, 2026, with a short visitation from 10-10:30, followed by funeral at 10:30 at Standing Stone Bible Church in Gretna, NE.

Phyllis, the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy Ainsworth, was born on March 30, 1945, in Omaha, Nebraska. She grew up in Omaha where she later went to Westside High School. She married Richard Shook on April 5, 1963. Richard and Phyllis lived in Omaha before moving to their acreage in Ithaca NE with their children Richard, Dawn and Danell. She remained at the acreage until her move to Gretna and Lincoln later in life. She was proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, siblings, and many other family and friends.

Phyllis is survived by her children: Richard (Leslie) Shook of Yutan, Dawn (Aaron) Moore of Lincoln, Danell (Pat) Mahan of Gretna; grandchildren Jamie (Jake) Christensen, Randi (Aksel) Nelsen, Paden Steele, Mason Steele, Isaiah Mahan, and Caleb Mahan; great-grandchildren Lane, Kyler, and Gunner.
