Paulett "Pauly" Elaine Bassinger of Lincoln, NE passed away peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2022 at the age of 70. She was born on May 18th, 1952 in Minersville NE, to Miner A. And Loretta H. (Blankenship) Bassinger. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family. She enjoyed arts and crafts, watching/collecting classic movies, as well as playing cards and board games; especially at family functions. She had a fond place in her heart for Yorkies and Poodles which she both raised and bred for many years. She graduated from Doane University with a bachelors in psychology. She participated in many volunteer organizations later in life giving back to those in need in and serving her community. She was very proud of her daughters and adored her grandchildren, this included many additional children who lovingly referred to her as "Mamo". Pauly was a devoted childcare provider for many families and friends for the majority of her life. She is survived by her daughters; Danielle (Nathan) Buck, Erin (AJ) Havlat and Rica Bassinger all of Lincoln NE, grandchildren; Teagan Bassinger of Mandeville LA; Arye Havlat of Lincoln NE; Paisley Buck of Lincoln NE; Brothers: TD Bassinger of Mineral Wells TX; Eric Bassinger of Pawnee NE; Kyle (Kim) Bassinger of Waverly NE; Sisters: Maelynn Bassinger (Jerry) of Dunbar NE; Niccole (Paul) Lux of Crestview Florida; Wendelin (John) Miller of Sidney IA. Brother-in-law Roger Tritch of Avoca NE; Sister-in-law Cindy Bassinger of Lindsborg KS and numerous extended family and friends. Her beloved Yorkie, Pixie and Poodle, Sir Knight. She was preceded in death by her parents Miner and Loretta Bassinger; grandson Myles Buck; brothers Scott and Rex Bassinger; sisters Twyla Tritch; Susan (Gerald) Rinne; Dawn Bassinger and sister-in-law Beth Bassinger. In honor of Pauly's wishes, a graveside Interment of Ashes will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City with a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date.
