Marie (Baker) Favors

Born August 2, 1963, in St. Paul, Nebraska

Passed away peacefully after her battle with terminal cancer on September 23, 2024, in Lincoln, Nebraska

Marie was born to the late Donald and Eileen (Keezer) Baker of Greeley, Nebraska. She married Ed Favors, the love of her life, on June 19, 2021, in Columbus, Nebraska. Together, they shared a special bond.

Marie had a long career as a truck driver, traveling many miles with Ed and their beloved dog, Tiny, staying in hotels throughout Nebraska. She found joy in riding her motorcycle, going camping, crafting, and spending precious time with family and friends.

Marie leaves behind her husband, Ed Favors, her four children: Josh (Erin) Baker, Jamie (Freddie) Perez, Jason (Hailey) Crumley, and Jennifer Crumley, as well as her three stepdaughters: Cheri Person, Jenny Favors, and Michelle Shonka. She was a proud grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and 16 step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.

She is also survived by her two sisters, Vicki (Todd) Perry and Diana (Pat) Werner, and her brother, Joe (Tammy) Baker.

A celebration of life for Marie will be held at a later date, to be determined.

Her warmth, adventurous spirit, and love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
