Loyal O. Muhlbach, age 80 of Kearney, died Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the Central Nebraska Veterans Home. He was born February 7, 1940 at Ravenna, Nebraska to Oscar M. and Susie (Hehner) Muhlbach. He served in the United States Army as a Military Policeman from 1963 to 1969 and chose law enforcement as his life's work. Loyal is survived by his daughters Lori Sechtem and Lisa Finley; son Shannon Muhlbach; sister Ruth Lindly; grandchildren Annie, Kelsey, Kailey, Kinsey, Will, and Josey; and great-grandson Wesley. He was preceded in death by siblings Donald Muhlbach and Arleen Stein. A reception will be held Saturday, August 22 starting at 2 pm in the Barrel Room at Kinkaider Events Center in Broken Bow.
