Lori Jeanne Ash, age 70, of Wahoo, NE passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Saunders Medical Center Long Term Care after a brief battle with cancer. Lori was born on Dec. 11th, 1955, to Eugene and Jayne (Bedient) Larsen in York, NE. She graduated from Millard South H.S. in Dec. 1973. She was united in marriage to Don Ash, Jr. on February 21, 1974. Together they raised 2 sons, Nicholas and Nathan. She was a loving mother and a great friend to many. Lori was a wonderful cook. Her "specialties" included broccoli cheese soup, spaghetti, chocolate crinkles and snickerdoodle cookies. Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Jayne Larsen, and infant sister Rebecca. She is survived by her partner, Don Ash, Jr.; sons Nicholas (Kim) Ash, and Nathan Ash; granddaughter Sydney Ash (Mason McNatt); brother Robert Larsen, sisters Debra (Steve) Troester, Vicki (Dick) Preuss; sister-in-law Julie (Larry) Clark, brothers-in-law Dave (Tracey) Ash and Tim (Karla) Ash; and many nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, September 21, 2026 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Millard, Nebraska. Inurnment 11:00 am Saturday, September 26, 2026 United Lutheran Cemetery, Hampton, Nebraska.
