LeRoy (Wally) Walbridge passed away after a 3 year battle with cancer. He was a hard working, self educated man, who could do anything in the line of construction and worked as a bricklayer for more than 40 years. His first love was his family, but a close second was his granddaughter's dog, Glock. They were inseparable. Wally held his friends close including his newest one, Pastor Carla. Her frequent visits during his illness did wonders in helping him find peace.

Wally is survived by his wife of 63 years, Winona (Beckman), and his two children, Kyle (Dave) Mankhey, Kurt (Michelle) Walbridge, five grandchildren, Anna Tallman (significant other, Marshall), David (Sarah) Hill, Daniel Hill, (fiancé Alysia), Samuel Walbridge, Toni Walbridge and seven great grandchildren, Ashtynn, Penelope, Jianna, Taaliah, Archer, Alexander and Audrey, brother Milton (Karen) Walbridge along with a nephew, nieces, family and friends. Wally is preceded in death by his parents F. Herb Walbridge and mother Bertha, brother Neale and his wife Beverly along with two of their children, Herb and LeAnna, brother Kenneth and his wife Rosalie, sister Bernadeane Mohlman and husband Ross, Niece, Larcy Walbridge and grandson, Nicholas Walbridge.

The memorial service will be held at American Lutheran Church, 4200 Vine Street, Lincoln, NE on Saturday, July 1 at 2:00 P.M. followed by a reception at the church. The service will be livestreamed on facebook.com/amlutheran. Memorials to the family for future designation.
