LaVonne Urso, 84, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away peacefully at home on November 28, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born March 11, 1941, in Winona, Minnesota, she was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Willard Stanley; sister, Mary (Morris) Brainerd; and brother, Jack Stanley.

She is survived by her daughters, Erin Urso, Michelle Urso, and Tara (Urso) McEntarffer; grandchildren Cyrus Urso, Paige Nelson, Ashley Owens, and Alec McEntarffer; and great-grandchildren Aspen Nelson, Jackson Owens, and Deacon Owens.

LaVonne graduated from St. Cecilia High School and later earned her LPN degree from Southeast Community College. She was a loyal employee for 20 years at Goodyear in Lincoln.

Above all, LaVonne was known for her compassionate heart, her tenacious spirit, and her unwavering devotion to the people she loved. She faced every challenge in life with courage and humor, and she remained a fighter until the very end.
