Laurie S. Britten, age 68 of Lincoln, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in Lincoln. She was born May 5, 1952 in Auburn, NE to Robert and Avis (Moeller) Vosberg. She married William "Dennis" Britten and to this union was born son Nathan and daughter Nicole. Laurie graduated from Auburn High School in 1970 and then attended Doane College in Crete. She is survived by her husband Dennis Britten of Lincoln; children Nate Britten and Nicole Britten; siblings Carla Osberg, Karen Combs, and Judy Vosberg Kaufman. Laurie was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Avis Vosberg; and brother Jim Vosberg. She enjoyed reading, cooking, playing cards, gardening, and sewing. Other passions included spending time with her family and friends, and trivia. Laurie had a special way of making everyone feel welcome in her presence and in her home. She was a gifted listener. Memorial Services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Christ Lutheran Church, 4325 Sumner Street, Lincoln, NE 68506.
