Kimberly Kay Rose, 56, left her earthly life on May 1, 2026 in York, Nebraska. She was born October 26, 1969 to Violet and Delbert Rose and grew up in Humboldt, Nebraska. Waiting for her at the gates are her son Dakota Shea Dettmannn, her beloved dog Taz, her parents and their respective spouses, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and many other relatives and friends. Left to remember her are her daughter Kayleigh Rose with her significant other Apollo and her sons Hunter McClintock and Wyatt McClintock of Lincoln, daughter Kaytee Jakson with her husband Brannon Jackson and son Koda Jackson of York, daughter Katrina Dettmann of Humboldt, Nebraska, and her best friend and dad who stepped up for her girls – David Filbert of Crete, sister Vicky Lynch and her husband Chuck Lynch of Humboldt, sister Ralphina (Linda) Rose of Kentucky. She has a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and friends as well. She was a friend to everyone she met. She was her 3 grandsons' favorite person and the light of our lives. She requested no formal services. A family gathering to celebrate her life will be determined at a later date.
