Nelson, John A. born June 14, 1931 to John K. and Ester Nelson, passed peacefully November 21, 2015 at the age of 84. John Served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956, married September 6, 1957 to Norma 'Patsy' Peterson. lived in Rosalie where he farmed and raised livestock. Retired in 1998 and moved to Fremont. John was an inventor, loved hunting and woodworking. He will be missed by HyVee coffee club and neighbors. John is survived by son Daniel Nelson, daughters Jolene Nelson, Valerie Keich and Kimberly Nelson, brother Harold Nelson and sister Alice Romona Bensen, grandchildren Johnny and Mark nelson, great grandchild Harley. Preceded in death by his parents John and Ester Nelson, wife Norma Peterson. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Nebraska Cremation is in charge of arrangements. www.nebraskacremation.com
