Jimmy Dale Seelmeyer was born on September 2, 1951 in Omaha Nebr. Jim grew up in Lincoln Nebraska. He attended Lincoln High School and served in the U. S. Navy for a short time. He married Mavis Reuter on July 20, 1973. Two children were born to this union. When living in Waverly, Jim was a member of the Waverly Volunteer Fire Dept and the Waverly Jaycees. Jim was currently a member of American Lutheran Church in Lincoln. He is survived by his wife Mavis, children Aaron Seelmeyer and Angela Franzen and two grandchildren, Kayla and Devon Franzen, sister and brother-in-law Jean and Joe Stippich, half-brother Jerry Swanson and wife Aneta, and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Enid Seelmeyer, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. Services will be held on March 22 at 10 am at American Lutheran Church, 4200 Vine Street Lincoln, NE 68503.
