Jason Allen
Rudy
Jan 7, 1980 — Jan 31, 2024
Jason A. Rudy, age 44 of Omaha, died January 31, 2024 in Omaha. He was born January 7, 1980 in Salina, Kansas and grew up in Dodge City, Kansas. Jason was a self-employed contractor who specialized in constructing residential housing. He was good with his hands and enjoyed working on cars and tinkering with just about everything, especially computers. When not working, Jason spent time fishing, drawing and listening to music. He was also an avid reader of many types of books, but principally mystery novels. A man with a big heart, Jason had a special love for his seven children and became a grandfather this past November. His children felt safe in his arms and it seemed that all their problems went away. His love for them was never ending no matter how much distance separated them. In addition to his children, Jason's mom held a special place in his life, but he also cherished his role as a brother and uncle. He often clowned around, telling jokes and being funny. But when it was time to dress up, Jason gave special attention to every detail of his clothing and appearance and topped it all off with a fragrant cologne.
Jason is survived by his mother Karen Keazer of Minneota, MN; siblings Aaron (Misty) Rudy of St. John, KS, John Rudy (Dawn Louis) of Dodge City, Kansas, Kimberly Hinman (Jeff Robinson) of DuQuoin, IL, Rhonda Dietz (Eric Erives) of Minnesota, Erica (Edward) Ruiz of Dodge City, Kansas, Kristi Dietz (Juan Tapia) of La Vista, NE; children Melanie Espino of Texas, Ambria Rudy of Dodge City, Kansas, Jazlynn Rudy Keazer of Minnesota, Tyson Rudy Keaser, Emiya Rudy of Lincoln, Fenix Rudy of Lincoln, and Christian Rudy of Lincoln; grandbaby Jayce Gabel of Dodge City, Kansas; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Headley; step-dad Randy Keazer; dad Marvin Dietz; and cousin Eric Griffin.
Visitation will be held from 10 am until noon, Saturday, February 10, at Pruss-Nabity Funeral Home in Wahoo.
