Jan (Nanny) Lyman, 80, was welcomed into the Loving Arms of Jesus, September 1, 2024. She leaves behind husband of 61 years, Terry, Rose (Joe) Gass, Tammy (Brent) Hagel-Pitt, Terry (Kay) Lyman, Lauren (Johnie) Crosby, and Daphne Fries, Kathryn (Josh) and Freya Thompson, Berkley (Branon) Pfeifer, Delaney Lyman Lyman (Shane Weeks) and many nieces and nephews. Jan was a loyal and valued employee with careers at Union Bank and Trust and US Bank. Jan and Terry built and operated the first Runza Drive In in Colorado. Jan's gift of mentoring employees and others is one of her many strengths. This strength was amplified many times during her 11 mission trips to Tanzania, East Africa. Jan loved and enjoyed doing things for others including crocheting many afghans and baby wraps. Much comfort was gained by snuggling into one of her creations. Jan was an excellent baker and many will miss her delicious cookies, especially her Ginger Snaps. Jan ad Terry loved to travel, passing through over 100 domestic and international airports plus driving thousands of miles on road trips. She's already missed by any but was welcomed by thousands into Heaven.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, September 12, at St. Mark's United Methodist Church Chapel, 8550 Pioneers Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68520. Memorials are requested to Food For His Children, PO Box 252, Harris, MN 55032.
