James T. White, 77, was born June 1936 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Georgia 'Robidoux' Candler and James T. White Sr. He entered the Kingdom of Heaven April 22, 2014. He was preceded into Heaven by his wife, Donna Shanahan White, and his loving parents Mr. and Mrs. Harold Candler of Council Bluffs, Iowa and James White Sr. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Surviving, are his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Mary White of Omaha, Nebraska, daughters Georgia (Dobie) and Matthew Bukin of Richardson, Texas and Shirley (Jan) and Charley Clapp of Carter Lake, Iowa. He has many Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren. James loved all his special family and friends in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 100 for over twenty years. He worked and played hard all his life. During the time of his employment he traveled throughout the United States. Last year he moved to Carter Lake, Iowa to live with his daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Charley Clapp. James enjoyed all the fun summer hours at Woodland Campgrounds with his friends and family where he enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, cards, and playing pool. He will be greatly missed and loved by all. Private family services are being held. Till we meet again in Heaven, 'Cowboy!'
