James Lee Hines, Sr. was born January 21, 1951 in Laurel, Nebraska and died at home in Coleridge, Nebraska after a long battle with kidney and heart disease on October 29, 2018. He is survived by Brenda, his wife of 40 years; two sons - James of Paradise, California and Jesse of Coleridge, Nebraska. Jim was also a proud grandfather to Chelsa (Kyle) Norris, Russell Hines and Michael Hines. A great-grandchild is due in May of 2019 from Chelsa and Kyle. He was known as a top notch mechanic and machinist, both manual and CNC. He could make and fix anything. Jim was also an exceptional cook and baker.
