James (Jim) Dennis Black, Sr died Sunday, November 2, 2025 at his grandson Flash (Amanda) Valentine's home in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Jim was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Gordon and Vera (Young) Black. He grew up mostly in the Clarkston, MI area. Jim was the only one left out of all the siblings and parents. Jim also had a son that passed away Jacob Black in 2011. With the stories of extended family members and friends, dad was well known.

Jim is survived by his children Connie (Jory), James (Jim), Shela, and Gordon. He had seven grandchildren; Flash, Ashley, Britnee, Dylan, Gabby, Leonna and Trista. Plus, 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral and burial will be announced at a later date.
