Gloria Jean Beasley, 77, of Waverly, NE passed away Saturday, September 4th, with her family by her side. Gloria was born on September 15, 1943 in Oakland, CA to the late Hannah (Lenhardt) and Ronald "Alex" Wertz. She moved to Fairbury, NE where she met Walter Beasley. Walt and Gloria moved to Lincoln, NE in 1965. They were married on May 6th 1966. They relocated to Waverly, NE in 1970. Gloria became a bus driver in 1976 for Waverly School District 145 and drove for 27 years. Gloria is survived by husband Walt Beasley of Waverly, NE, son James Squyres (Valery Benjamin) of Bayside, TX, son David (Angela) Squyres of Port Lavaca, TX, son Scott (Wenonah) Beasley of Brighton, CO, son Kevin (Julie) Beasley of Lincoln, NE and daughter Tamara Beasley of Lincoln, NE, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gloria was preceded in death by her brother Harvey Sauter in 1942, her brother Gerald Sauter in 2000 and her grandson, Aaron C. Peterson in 2006.
