Erma (June) Simpson, 82, of Lincoln departed this world peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 18th. Born in 1942 by the beautiful clear waters of the Current river in SE Missouri, she continued to spread that beauty throughout her entire life. June loved to spread warmth, hugs, laughter, and most importantly radiant smiles to everyone she was around. She was always there to help in any and every way she could. Always telling stories with a little kick of knowledge, humor and of course great wisdom.

June leaves behind 4 beautiful children that carry her spirit, love, independence, strong will and ability to " take on the world". She also enjoyed lots of wonderful years with her many grandchildren and bonus children and grandchildren.

Her career as a teacher gave her the opportunity to touch many children's lives which will continue on as part of her great legacy. June spread beauty wherever she walked and she planted that beauty in her avid gardening skills which will carry on forever.
