Emma Lee DeKeyser, 83, of Valley, NE, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Lee was married to Bernard Roger DeKeyser from 1960-1982, and leaves as her legacy: Tammy Olson (Craig Olson) of Portland, OR; Dawn DeKeyser (Randall Harris) of Los Angeles, CA; Valerie DeKeyser of Los Angeles, CA; her five grandchildren, Esther Olson, Ethan Olson, Nicholas Olson, Catherine Olson and Ava DeKeyser. Lee is survived by her brother, Robert Wade Jr. (Judith), their children, Robert Wade and Demetria Wade Herman, and their children. Lee was a mother, wife, and best friend to many. As an Air Force officers wife, she raised her daughters in Japan, England and Texas. She had a great sense of style, a beautiful singing voice she reserved for lullabies, and an unwavering spirit of adventure. We are thankful to have her spirit, her recipes, and her life lessons with us forevermore. Per Lee's request, there will be no services. However, in tribute to her, we ask that donations be made in her memory to Living Free Animal Sanctuary (living-free.org/donate SEE LINK BELOW). Lee was a lifelong animal lover who will be dearly missed.
