Obituary

Dutch Lee Jensen, 48, of Lincoln, NE, passed away on October 13, 2024. He was born on October 8, 1976, in Lincoln to Terry and Christine Jensen. Dutch was a cherished husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

A passionate history enthusiast, Dutch had a particular fascination with World War II, a love he inherited from his father. He also had a knack for engines and could make anything run—from small mower engines to large semi-trucks. In high school, his exceptional skill with two-cycle engines earned him the nickname "Two-Cycle."

Throughout his career, Dutch primarily worked as a welder and diesel mechanic. Known for his great sense of humor, he had a talent for making people laugh and was beloved by many.

Dutch is survived by the love of his life, Cyndee Jensen; and his sons, Alex Davis and Rien Jensen. He also leaves behind one grandson, Sage; three brothers, Shon Lee Jensen (wife Heidi), Vance Lee Jensen, and Travis Lee Jensen; his mother Christine Jensen; his sister, Angela Christine Lee Huff; and grandmother, Frances Paugh. He is remembered by twelve nieces and nephews: Kourtney, Brittany, Seth, Dylyn, Colin, Pheonix, Merik, Benjamin, Reese, Gabrielle, Adam, and Joshua, as well as one great-niece, Claire, and numerous loving relatives.

He is preceded in death by his son, Brandon Barker; sister, Susan Jensen; father, Terry Lee Jensen; and his grandparents, John Dick Paugh, James Jensen, Joanne Paugh, and Mamie Jensen.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM on Saturday November 2, 2024 at The Urban Farmhouse Room on 3900 Yankee Hill Rd, Suite 127 in Lincoln, NE.
