Debbie Jo Amory "Nana" "Sweet Pea" 62 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 19th, 2022 at 11:42am. Debbie Jo was born on January 27th, 1960 in Lincoln NE to Clarence and JoAnn (Clover) Kuhn. She was employed at UNL for 30+ years and was also a long time daycare provider in Lincoln. She enjoyed bowling, backyard volleyball, watching sports of all types especially the Huskers and, most of all, spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Amory (Hon), her six daughters Tonya Amory, JoAnn Amory, Dawn Amory-Acosta (Son-in-law Honorio Acosta), Rachelle Amory-Sams (Son-in-law Conrad Sams), Nikki Kelso (Son- in-law Travis Kelso) and Chelsea Collier; grandchildren Tyrone, Haider, Alex, Leiliana, Janessa, Kaelyn, Juan, Yuli, Jonahs, Conrad Jr, Emilee, Isabella, Kaysen, Ryker, Nevaeh and Baby Sams; siblings Diane Kuhn, Jenette Watkins, Patricia Underwood and Jeffrey Underwood; many nieces and nephews. Debbie Jo was preceded in death by her father Clarence Kuhn, sister Rebecca Mendoza, brothers Roger and Rodney Kuhn.

Visitation is scheduled for 7:30 - 9:00 pm Friday, September 30 at Cross The Line Church, 5925 Adams Street, Lincoln NE, 68507. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 Saturday October 1 at the church and will be followed by a Celebration of Life to honor Debbie Jo Amory, also at the church.
