Dean W. Rush passed away in Omaha June 5, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He was born February 23, 1930 in Akron, IA. He married Marjorie in September 1951 and together they raised 4 children in Omaha. Dean worked for IBEW Local 22 in Omaha and IBEW Local 231 in Sioux City for 30 years before moving to manage a retirement park in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents Roger and Marie; brothers Jay and Jack; sister Barb Skaff. He is survived by his children and their spouses Donald and Dorothy, Dennis, Darlene and Bill, Doris and Bob; 7 grandchildren: Jennifer, Jessica, Eric, Julie, Megan, Ryan and Aaron. He left one great-grandson, Griffen. Also survived by brothers Tom and Kenny; numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a private memorial service for the family.
