Dean Allen Fisser, age 67, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln, NE. He was born on December 14, 1957, in Crete, NE, to Anton and Hermine Fisser. Dean grew up in Hallam, NE, and was the youngest of three boys. He attended grade school in Hallam and high school in Crete.

At the age of 19, Dean started working at the NPPD Sheldon Station in Hallam. He was employed with NPPD for 37 years on the coal crew before retiring. Throughout his retirement years, Dean worked at several part-time jobs, including home remodeling, mowing at a golf course, and helping farmers at harvest time. In addition to spending time with his family he enjoyed all Husker sports, fishing, and listening to and dancing to music, and spending time with friends. He was a board member at The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lincoln, NE.

Dean is survived by his two sons, Chris (Michelle) and children, Emeri, Ava, and Reilyn & Eric (Kylee), and children, Landon and Logan, his brother Don (B.A.) nephew, Steve, and niece, Kelli. He also had several great nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale.

A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 500 W. Industrial Park Dr, at a later date.
