It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of David Eugene Wyant, who left us peacefully on March 15th at the age of 64.

Born on September 18, 1961 in Plattsburgh AFB, NY, David was the beloved youngest of 5 children born to Fred and Betty Wyant. He will be remembered for his humor, resilience and his passion for spending time with his family as well as love of deer hunting and a sense of personal independence.

David was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Gayle Lemke and brother Wayne. He is survived by his sister Wendy (Rick) Whaley, La Vista, NE; sister-in-law Kathy Scott Wyant, Cookeville, TN; sister Robin Wyant, Omaha, NE; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 18, at 11:00 am, at Renewed Hope Church, 9505 Harrison St., La Vista, NE. A luncheon will follow in the church Fellowship Hall. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 am. preceding the memorial service. Friends and family are welcome to attend and share memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Open Door Mission in Omaha, NE, an organization close to David's heart.

His family is comforted by the knowledge that David's life did not end, it changed form. He shed his earthly tent for an eternal existence with God.
