Dave lived a life full of creativity, kindness, and a connection with others. A graduate of Lincoln East High School, class of 1977, he carried his sense of humor and easy going spirit with him through out his life.

He spent many years working in Advertising, where his creativity and eye for design were a natural fit. In his retirement years, he worked for Lincoln Public Schools, where he enjoyed the children, meeting people, and making friends.

Art, however was always at the center of his life. A full time artist at heart, he could be found traveling the countryside with his tent, sharing his colorful and whimsical creations. Along the way he made countless friends and touched many lives, and his work found homes with people who were drawn not only to his art but also to his warm spirit.

Among his greatest joys was being a "Papa" to his grandchildren. He was a proud and loving father, a devoted grandfather, a loyal friend, and a wonderful husband.

He lived his life with kindness, laughter, and creativity, and will deeply be missed by all that knew and loved him.
