David Baker, 83, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away Thursday March13, 2025. Born November 29, 1941, to Lewis and Marie (Wake) Baker.

David began his life working on the family farm. He went on to work for Western Auto Service in Kansas City. He was a mechanic and worked on heavy equipment for Almery Construction. Later in life he enjoyed working in carpentry.

David had a love of music. Being in a band called the Rhythm Kings and also playing alongside his sisters Mary and Patty. He sang at the Gratitude Café with his brother Paul and sister Patty.

David lived each day for his family. He is survived by his love of 40 plus years Linda Johnson, Daughters Tina (Gustavo) Ruiz, Pauline (Mike) Roberts, Christina (Jim) Akins, Denise Trotter and Shelly (Chris) Severson. Fourteen plus grandkids, sixteen plus great grand kids, two sisters Patty Kozak and Nona Davis and brother Paul Baker and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parent's, two sisters, nephew and niece.

David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him
