Darlene Faye Muthersbaugh, 91 of Lincoln passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. She was born on her family's farm near Valparaiso on June 14, 1934, to John J. and Dorothy I. (Winter) Krafka. She graduated from Valparaiso High School and moved to Lincoln. Darlene married Don R. Muthersbaugh on January 20, 1956, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Lincoln, and they were married for 65 years before Don's passing in 2021.

Darlene loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and loved making special treats for family gatherings. She was a farmer's daughter and wanted to feed everyone. She loved to sew where she made clothes for herself, Tami and Tami's Barbie dolls, and her nieces. Her sewing abilities were a great attribute to her job as a clothing inspector at Jantzen during the 70's/80's. Darlene was an active grandmother, attending sporting events, concerts, and other activities. Darlene cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and looked forward to seeing them every chance she could get. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Darlene is survived by her daughter, Tamara (Scott) Shaner; sons Mickey (Carol) and Alan (Kelly); grandchildren Nicholas Muthersbaugh, Samantha Muthersbaugh, Amanda (Dalton) Kapke, Brad (Emma) Shaner, Matt (MaKayla) Muthersbaugh, and AJ (Averie) Muthersbaugh; great-grandchildren Cora Kapke, Charlie and Austin Muthersbaugh; sister Donna (Jim) Rall; brothers Arnold (Darlene) Krafka and Jack Krafka; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, and sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Tom Tracy.
