Cynthia "Sue" Craun was born on August 4, 1945, in Shelby, North Carolina. She passed away on December 26 at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital at the age of 80.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Pinkney Rollins and Edith Rollins; her brother, Wallace Rollins; her sister, Maxine Hale-Otterbeck; and her beloved grandson, Zakary Tuller.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 42 years, James Craun. She is survived by her children: James "JJ" Tuller Jr. and his wife Kellie; Brian Scott Tuller and his wife Connie; Dianna Michelle Poppa and her husband Timothy Poppa; and Robert Dale Craun and his partner, Taryn Schettler.

Sue was deeply loved by her grandchildren: Jake Tuller, Robert Tuller, Collin Tuller, Paige Tuller, Scotty Emery, Nathan Poppa, and Nick Poppa. She was also blessed with several great-grandchildren who brought her much joy.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to St. Croix Hospice for the compassion, love, and care they provided over the past year, as well as to the nurses and staff at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital who cared for Sue in her final days.

Sue will be remembered for her love of family and the special place she held in the hearts of all who knew her.
