Burdine Marie (Kruse) Nines was born September 30, 1937 to Otto and Hilda (Blinde) Kruse on a farm near Burr NE where she spent her childhood. She passed away on May 25, 2022 at the age of 84. Burdine graduated from Burr High School in 1954. On May 29, 1960 she married Paul Nines of Lincoln. To this union 3 children were born, Michelle, Rick and Christle. She is preceded in death by her parents Otto and Hilda Kruse, her husband Paul Nines, son Paul (Rick) Nines, brother and sister in law Fred Kruse and Patricia Kruse Eagle/Lincoln, brother in law Harvey Bruns of Cook, NE and niece Jennifer Kruse also of Lincoln. She is survived by her daughters Michelle (Rick) Earnest of Lincoln, and Christle (Rod) Burianek of Pleasant Dale; companion Dennis Petschke and family of Malcolm; sister Luetta Bruns of Syracuse; brother and sister in law Rinehart and Alice Kruse of Lincoln; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of great friends. She enjoyed her Mollie B polka music and senior citizens playing cards. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Malcolm. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for later designation. A private burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Malcolm, NE at a later date.
