ANTONIO (TONY) G. PIGNOTTI SR.

May 20, 1939 – March 19, 2023

Tony Pignotti passed away peacefully on March 19, 2023 in Omaha, NE. He was 83 years old.

Tony had a successful local sheet metal company he ran, along with his wife, for over 45 years. While

some people spend their retired years golfing, Tony preferred to ride his Harley with his wife riding next

to him. He also enjoyed his classic Mercury Sun Valley and would participate in local car shows. He took

pride in the trophies he won.

Tony had a warm smile and bellowing laugh that could get the attention of everyone in the room. He

was quick with a joke and his humor made him loved by many. Tony had a way with stories that would

leave his grandchildren asking to hear the same ones over and over, many of which highlighted the pride

he held for his Italian heritage. Tony's motto was "you only live once." He spent his time enjoying the

simple pleasures such as a glass of wine with the ones he loved or a fresh picked fig. To those who knew

and loved him he will be greatly missed.

Tony was preceeded in death by his loving wife, Cynthia; four brothers and three sisters. He is survived

by his four children (from his previous marriage to Karen Battreall): sons: Antonio Jr., Guy and Paul

Pignotti, daughter Vicky Quinn, eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great

great-grandchild.
