Ann Samland of Milford, NE and formerly of Washington, KS died Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Milford. Ann was born September 3, 1944 to Erlin and Margaret (Heffner) Bjergum at LaCrosse, WI. She was united in marriage in November 1982 to Richard Samland at Jansen, NE. They moved to Rockland, WI where they lived for 24 years before moving to Washington, KS. Survivors include children: Deb (Rod) Klaus, Crete, NE, Maggie Brace, Milwaukee, WI, Rick (Jane) Samland, Hollenberg, KS, Carol (Rick) Strunk, Jansen, NE, Sharon Rosenthal (Late Harvey), Jansen, NE, Debbie Santee, Beatrice, NE, Charles Samland, Bennet, NE, 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Sisters: Geri Bjergum, Linda Odya, Colleen (Larry) Cartwright, LaCrosse, WI, Barbara Pettigrove, Gays Mills, WI, Dawn Ortiz, Black River Falls, WI. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Lucy Graw, LaCrosse, WI. Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, April 21 at 11:00 am at Crossroads Community Church, Washington, KS.
