Alan Gene Gagner passed away at home at the age of 65, on June 18 surrounded by his loving children and dedicated wife after suffering eight long years with dementia. Alan is survived by his soulmate of 52 years, Melody, his loving children, Brande (Jesse) and Thomas. Thomas was named after Alans favorite uncle that he admired. Alan and Melody were soulmates, they met at the skating rink at the age of 12 and 13 and loved each other to the very end. Alan is also survived by three beautiful grandchildren, Morgan, Hayley and Mason , and they were the love of his life. Alan was a very hard worker his entire life and did everything he could to please his family. When Alan was diagnosed with dementia, he was forced to take an early retirement, but continued to be helpful in every way possible to his family. Alan is also survived by a sister Candy (Jeff) and his brother Scott (Mary); many nieces and nephews; special friend, Becky; and several loving friends. Alan is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia and his father, Jerry, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Roger and Janet LaPage, his brother-in-law, Dr. D (Dave), his brother-in-law, Kevin. Per Alans request, there will be no funeral service, but a celebration of life will be held at a later time.
